The one-time fee (for the H25) plus $7/month is reasonable for me. If need be, I could get an H25, activate it at home, and leave it at my vacation home, too. If 2, I can simply run the 2nd output at home directly to my HR54 to get it activated.then bring it to my vacation home. Do the modern (non-SWIM) LNBs have 2 outputs? I recall when I upgraded to 4k, the tech replaced my dish/LNB and there's only 1 line into my home, but I can't recall (I am not at home now) if the newer LNB outputs have 1 or 2 outputs. I still have several BBCs from my prior installs if I needed them. If I can get it activated, I would simply leave the HR24 at my vacation home since I have no other use for it. I am fine with $7/month which is what I assumed it would be. I figured D* will ask why I don't simply want a Genie-mini to connect to my HR54. I will see if they can activate one of my HR24s at home.
